Love, Jenni<br /><br />I was frustrated and irritated. Why were they not in the car yet? I stomped out to the top of the stairs to redirect…but paused with what I saw. Faces up toward the sky, they spun around. “Mommy, they’re big. They’re aren’t many of them, but they’re giant.” (Samuel) The first few drops of rain.<br /><br />Then I marveled at how one can distinguish size with that which was so small already. They could. They weren’t too busy or too much in a hurry to notice the marvel. And they danced under the first few drops. Me, I just stood there, wanting to etch them in my memory, that I wouldn’t forget that they weren’t too big to notice the big and little. Then, I forgot what was so important before I topped the stairs. Nothing seems more important next to these littles.<br /><br />HE reminded me through them that we aren’t too small to be marveled over.
