Outside my window... it is chilly and dark but at least it is dry today.
I am thinking... oddly enough, about things I need to pick-up from Costco. I haven't been to Costco (personally) in months. The Captain usually goes. Does going to Costco fry anyone else's brains or is it just me?
I am thankful for... understanding friends, migraine medication and my Nana for making dinner tonight.
I'm also thanking for the long heart-to-heart I had with my girls last night and that the Lord is so good and faithful to us-- to guard our hearts and keep us close.
I am wearing... jeans, a purple V-neck sweater and the new fragrance hubby bought me.
I am going... for a much needed eye exam on Friday. My eyes feel very "wonky" and I haven't been able to wear contacts for over two months now (because it's painful).
I am reading... my One Year Bible (KJV), Footsteps of the Flock and different knitting patterns :)
I am hoping... we actually finish Week 8 this week in school.
We didn't have a very productive start to the week. I was nauseous before we got through bible and history. I've been laying down most of the day :(
I am praying... for our friends' house to sell (even though she will be farther away from me once she moves).
From the kitchen... I need to whip-up a batch of detergent.
Good news-- I found my counter tops!!
Around the house... pleading the 5th here... I was out of town this weekend.
One of my favorite things~ smelling good (very random I know but I am medicated-- it's all I could think of...)
I am creating... assorted knitted items and a website for my husband's work.
Picture thought...
I took random footage of rain on Saturday and asked Leisl to put it together. The Captain was playing the piano when I shot it and I thought it was so pretty. Although, on the video we have Vince Guaraldi playing from the Charlie Brown Christmas album.

Laine,
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I'm so glad you visited! I have been to your blog often in hopes of joining your Weekly Homeschool Highlights. I need to figure out how to add the little green button (new at this).
What I really wanted to tell you though was that I listened to one of your midnight chats and it was so encouraging to me. This is our first year and it just feels SO hard right now. I haven't felt this discouraged and keep wondering why. The Lord led me right to your chat called 'When it's November and it's hard'. Thank you Laine for sharing your wisdom. I feel more encouraged to start our day this morning.
God Bless you,
Isabel
Thank you for encouraging me! Perfect, perfect timing.
I hope that God's faithfulness to you becomes more and more evident ;)
