For Today, Monday September 21th, 2009...
Outside my window... the sun is rising and looks like it will be a beautiful day here. Oh yikes I just checked the weather widget in my dashboard-- 93 ˙... oh well so much for sweater weather :)
I am thinking... about church last night... the power of the blood of Jesus. In our bodies, if a part is denied blood that part begins to die. In the Body of Christ, it's His blood that gives and sustains our life.
It's true personally too so I guess my thoughts are... is there any areas of my life that I haven't recognized as being covered by the Blood and I am free to walk in victory?
But also the properties of blood, the platelets, when we are cut/injured, it's the blood that clots and begins healing and it is the Blood of Jesus that mends and heals us.
I am thankful for... being much healthier than last week. I'm sad the hubby caught it but I am grateful only one of us was sick at one time. We can take care of each other :)
I am wearing... red, floral flannel jammies currently. I'm waiting until the bread comes out of the oven before showering.
I am reading... actually re-reading Hinds Feet on High Places. It's been a few years.
I am hoping... to get my to do list shrunk down considerably. It seems to be growing instead of disappearing!
I am creating... should be creating the wedding invites. I finally got the last of the info I need and now it's a matter of printing. I am hoping I can do that before Wednesday.
I am praying... for my kids and the children of my friends. I'm also praying for the movie to be finished soon and that it would give God glory.
Around the house... hmmm, well let's see, we are in Week 2 of school and we have "home school house" in a very pronounced way. I am hoping, since I'm feeling much better this week, that we can get things straightened up.
From the learning rooms... Julius Caesar! Plus learning more about how the bible came to be.
From the kitchen... I need to clean my oven! I'm typing it here so I don't forget. :D
One of my favorite things...honey crisp apples straight from the orchard... yum!
A few plans for the rest of the week... the usual plus Wednesday is Papa's Birthday!
Happy Birthday Papa!!
Here is a picture thought I'm sharing with you...
My baby girl is eleven... and almost as tall as I am. Time seems to be moving faster these days.
