Mishmash Family Science: "Breakthrough: Cell Membranes and Osmosis

We had one little science activity leftover from last week that The Captain really wanted to do.

I think he is excited to be "back" in school too.

He read to them the section on cell membrane permeability called,
"Breakthrough--How Materials Enter and Exit A Cell" from this book--


He explained a little--


Then drew a little--



He made sure they understood--


And finally we did a little activity to demonstrate the principles they just learned.

Short, sweet and effective.
It was perfect for a quiet moment tonight after church and before bed.
