A Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today, Monday August 10th, 2009...

Outside my window... is a wonderful neighborhood with totally awesome kids and families.

I am thinking... about my mom's birthday on Wednesday. Nana will be 63 and she has been gone almost 2 1/2 weeks in San Diego. We miss her and can't wait until she comes home tomorrow night.

I am thankful for... the meeting I had with a few ladies on Saturday morning. They just blessed me so much and I am very excited for our new school year.

I am wearing... white jean capris, a white tank with a long white top over it.

I am reading... a whole bunch of books on filmmaking. Oh, and a book a neighbor loaned me titled, "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day." Very nifty!

I am hoping... for safe travel for Nana.

I am creating... a little less than last week but still a lot. The movie is coming together! It's very exciting :)

I am praying... about how much I should take on right now. My plate seems very full.

Around the house... ya know... it's really no better than last week. Moving on...

From the kitchen... Tonight we had Italian Wedding soup, fresh corn on the cob, and fresh baked bread. Yummy :) Tomorrow, Papa is making his famous chicken curry! I can't wait!

One of my favorite things... Fresh baked bread.

A few plans for the rest of the week... I am so excited! We have nothing on the calendar! Summer ballet is over, no violin this week and no eye therapy. It's very nice :) We are really hoping to wrap up filming this week. Once we're done I can return our home to it's usual mess (hee hee).

Here is a picture thought I'm sharing with you...

These are three of seven piggies our sweet friend Katie and her mom, Vicky, gave us (for no reason at all). They are in our front yard and make us smile! Thank you Katie-kins :) We love you!

I love those piggies!!! Please give Nana a big hug for us, in case we don't see her Wed. night.

I'd love for us to get together again. Maybe we can chat about it when your plate is less full.

Lastly, I hope you don't mind... we linked your site on our blog, although ours isn't public yet. ;)

Aren't my piggies awesome?! And Alicen, link away babes :)

Oh and my full plate referred to projects-- not getting together. I'm always up for that ((grin))

Missed you, missed you, missed you...so glad to be back.

Love your piglets, the bread looks yummy (still keeping up with the food thing?), and I think a full plate means Fall...we haven't been this busy (with outside activities) ever!!!

Can't wait for the movie, you're all so creative and talented.

Please say Happy Birthday to Nana from me! (She'll think I'm CraZy, but she is a blessing to me nonetheless!)

Looking for something??
