FOR TODAY: Monday March 16th, 2009...

Outside My looks very Oregon winter and not so much Spring.

I am thinking... unfortunately, about my shoulder that is killing me right now. It's hurting to the point of distraction and is making me grumpy which I so don't like being.

I am thankful for... that my Physical Therapist has an opening this Thursday and I am able to go see her.

From the kitchen... Oriental Stir-fry, Rugelach, Tacos, Mickey Mouse Waffles, Coconut Chicken are some of the breakfast and dinner items for this week. My plans haven't "firmed up" in my head yet. Oh, I forgot about St. Patty's Day, I might try to make a corned beef.

I am wearing... Jeans, a fun, funky top and my comfy gray sweater. We all know what is on my feet :)

I am creating... a more efficient work space in my kitchen. My kitchen is not working for me right now and I need to re-think how it's all laid out.

I am going... to my haircut appointment today! I keep hearing the song from Winnie-the-Pooh, "Today's the day, today's the day, hooray for you, hooray for me, hooray, hooray for Pooh will soon be free..." I have not had a haircut since December 13th, 2008. I'm a little excited :)

I am reading... verses about Sarah in the Bible (still), my nighttime devotional, Nourishing Traditions and I am reading Ron Mehl's Ten (der) Commandments--soooooo good.

I am hoping... that I can accomplish stuff around the house in spite of my gimpy shoulder.

I am hearing... nothing. Weird.

Around the house... Laundry needs to be done (it's Monday) but I noticed I need a new batch of laundry detergent so I'll probably make some tonight or tomorrow. A good straightening and a vacuum wouldn't hurt either.

One of my favorite things... my Monday night bible study group. I look forward to going each week and just love all the ladies. We are studying through 1 Peter.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: The usual lessons and schooling. Wednesday I have my initial evaluation for the eye doctor because I probably need vision therapy too. My eyes have been hurting so badly and make me very tired.

Wed night is Worship here (yea!)

And of course I now have PT on Thursday.

From the learning rooms: Continuing with Saul and David, which totally sounds like a soap opera--

This week Saul tries to kill David but Saul's son Jonathan warns David so David runs away from Saul. Later David almost destroys a town because of Nabal, a foolish man, instead takes his wife Abigail and marries her. Also, David has the opportunity to kill Saul who is chasing him all across the country in an all-out manhunt.

Will David take the opportunity? Is Saul about to loose his kingdom?

We'll find out As The Bible Pages Turn (cue intro music)

LOL, oh I need to go eat breakfast. I'm getting goofy over here.

Picture Thought:

See? My craziness is contagious-- I get it from my kids!
