FOR TODAY: Monday March 9th, 2009...

Outside My Window...it was snowing earlier but not sticking. Now it looks as though the sun is trying to break through the gray clouds. I don't know how successful it will be!

I am thinking...about the week ahead and projects or activities that need planning.

I am thankful for... the many helping hands that made light work of the assembling of the wedding invitations. My kids helped as well as Nana and Andrea. Not only did it go faster but we chatted and had fun while we did it.

From the kitchen... Sometime this week: Meatballs, Baked Beans, Chicken Curry, Some sort of seafood and some sort of soup. I was so busy this weekend I haven't finalize my menu and shopping list. Good thing my shopping/market day is Tuesday ;)

I am wearing... Black slacks, a turquoise turtle neck shell and a a black cardigan. Of course my ever present lilac Uggs are warming my toes :)

I am creating... I don't know! I just finished the wedding invites last night. Oh! I know, I'm creating a blog space for my Andrea.

I am going... to clear off my desk and put away all the supplies I pulled out these last few weeks, continue create menu plans so I don't have to put so much brain power in each week and tonight, hopefully, I am going to my Monday night women's bible study in our neighborhood--we are studying through the book of 1 Peter.

I am reading... verses about Sarah in the Bible (still), my nighttime devotional, Nourishing Traditions and I an still going through Caring for Parents resources. I will be posting about the resources I find useful as soon as I am done.

I am hoping... that the ladies in our church know that the Lord loves them very, very much.

I am hearing... the kids doing a variety of things... oh yes, my son is humming. I hear the dishwasher is being emptied and more humming!

Around the house... Not too bad... we need to start laundry and general straightening for the week but last Monday's cleaning effort is still bearing fruit. Thankfully, because I was a hurting puppy after last Monday.

One of my favorite things... long talks with good friends.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: The usual lessons and schooling. A special guest for dinner on Wednesday. {{{Hi Sarah!!}}} Other than that, the calendar looks blissfully empty.

From the learning rooms: We are studying Saul and beginning David as well as Early Russians and Scythians.

Picture Thought:

A sunset from this past summer. I can't find our little camera...

Sorry about hiding the camera Mom... us kids couldn't risk you taking pictures of us being ferrets, not in my present state. Ha! It was actually Brigitta's idea anyway. Hehehehehe...

I love you!
