Midnight Chat: In Faith and Obedience

This week, the Lord made very real to us to Philippians 4:19:

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

It's nice and brief (just for you Kim :) and a zero on the tissue box rating system!

Lord bless you guys

So sweet, so true. I just sent you an e-mail then decided to check out your blog and found this. You have the gift of encouragement!

This was your first video devotional I've seen. What a good idea and how very encouraging! Thank you.

Hey Cyndi, I got your email and I will be praying. Lord bless your sweet, tender heart...

Leah, thank you for taking time to encourage me! And you are very welcome :) Definitely not something I ever thought I would do but it's been a special, rich time for me with the Lord too.

Good word for us all...I watched you this morning, then later this evening, I was listening to Jon Courson and he was talking about watching out for the "yeah but's" in life. Like when you are asked to do something and the response is, "yeah...but I am not, yeah... but I can't, yeah...but-(fill in the blank)." Of which I must confess is far easier to reply with, then to just jump in with an excitement to see how the Lord will be faithful.

Thank you for living that out, for sharing the reminder and for doing it in front of your kiddos so that they will have these lessons in their memory for the times in their life that they will need this very skill.

I cannot tell you how many times I have had little things sneak in today and I was reminded of what you shared:)

Love you and your wonderfully sweet and obedient heart!!!

I got through the whole thing! Thanks Lainie! This message really hit home for me. I am in the toddler/preschool/preteen messy house phase of my life right now and all too often in the past I have chosen to keep our home closed to the rest of the world because of how messy I thought it was. That being said, it is something that I am working on and will continue to pray about and put my faith in God that he will work it out. Thank you Lainie, as always, your word was spot on!
