Good News/ Bad News

Good News: Earthlink sent and we received our new modem today! Yea!

Bad News: There is still something wrong and we're still not able to be online from home.

Good News: Papa's computer is working and they live next door!

Bad News: I have no way to easily get my pictures for various posts that are in my head onto his computer.

Good News: We did lots of school today including studying the Passover!

Bad News: I can't show you what we did yet.

Good News: Kurt got 100% on his spelling test!

Bad News: He was reduced to tears after I accidentally gave him Brigitta's math drill (Grade 4) instead of his 2nd grade math drill. Major oops. He's okay now but I really need to be more careful. Poor little guy :(

And of course the best Good News of all... Jesus is bigger than modems and computers and His will will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. He loves us, He is good and right and true and He died to restore us to the Father.

And with that Good News there really is no bad news to wipe the joy out of my heart.

Yes, circumstances may make my smile leave and my eyebrows definitely get all crinkled up as I navigate through this life.

But at the end of the day, I do sleep in peace knowing my Jesus has it all under control.

I hope to be back soon. And I miss you all very much.

But His timing is always perfect.

So long until we are fully operational or I can sneak back into Papa's office...

I just wanted to chime in with a shout out for Papa's --

Good News: We have Papa's that love us and are "there for us" in so many ways, even for borrowing computers. Thank God for Papa's.

God bless Papa! Love your perspective and blogging without picture is ok too. It makes us exercise our imagination muscles:-)

Hope all is well with your internet access soon. In the meantime, enjoy the relative quiet.

Looking for something??
